Thank you for dropping by my site! My aim is to make it a helpful music resource for you in your wedding planning.
A little bit about me: I’ve been a musician since my parents enrolled me in piano lessons at the age of 6. So music has been a part of my life for a long time (don’t ask me just HOW long!).
The very first wedding I played for was at a historic village in a tiny old-fashioned chapel. The instrument (in keeping with this prairie church) was a pump organ, also a first for me. I thought I was prepared for this – I had consulted with the minister and had been given the list of music to play for the ceremony. I just had to come up with some prelude music while the guests arrived. I didn’t plan on the bride being 40 minutes late… I played the same 4 hymns over and over and over… Needless to say, my feet got a workout that day pumping the pedals to keep the organ going, and I learned a valuable lesson – weddings can be unpredictable, so always bring MORE music than you think you need!
Since then, I have helped a lot of couples design the music to fit their unique wedding style. I’ve learned a few more valuable tips along the way, and the result is this site you are now browsing. Hopefully the experience I’ve gained will help you as you put the music together for your own ceremony.
These days the choices for wedding music are not limited to the traditional Wedding March and Pachelbel’s Canon (although they are both still popular choices). You’ll see a lot of titles here that you might not have thought of in a wedding setting, but that’s part of the way you can make your own wedding day a unique and memorable one. And I’m thrilled to be a part of helping to make that happen for you!
